Story Of The Week: Akron Going Green? Or Purple?

Akron's glass recycling program has seen significant success, collecting nearly 10 tons of glass monthly from five designated recycling containers across the city. These purple dumpsters located in various neighborhoods, attract both Akron residents and individuals from neighboring communities due to their convenience and environmental benefits. Each container is capable of holding 1.5 to 2 tons of glass.
